When’s the last time you purchased something without seeing it first or knowing what to expect? You most likely haven’t. You wouldn’t buy a car without seeing it first, nor would you purchase an insurance policy without reviewing the contents. So why should you pay for a financial plan without knowing what to expect?
As financial plans are supposed to be uniquely tailored to each client’s individual needs, circumstances, and goals, advisors can’t easily provide one without working extensively with the person. However, we were up for the challenge and wanted to create something that could help people better understand what a financial plan may look like should they choose to work with us.
What Does a Financial Plan Entail?
Financial plans can address a myriad of concerns and goals, from college planning to retirement income strategizing. Depending on your needs, your plan may focus on one overarching element, or multiple goals you’d like to achieve over time. Whatever you choose to focus on, your financial plan is designed to serve as your roadmap, helping you get started at Point A and make your way to Point B.
At Cornerstone Wealth Management Group, we offer comprehensive financial services, including the development of your own financial plan. Throughout our planning process, our clients gain a complete view of their wealth and understand each of the integrated components including:
- Understanding what true wealth means to them
- Defining their unique purpose
- Clarifying their financial goals
- Prioritizing what is most important to them
- Planning to leave a lasting legacy
The result is a simple yet powerful roadmap to guide our clients towards financial freedom. Through our multifaceted approach, we focus on providing you an effective game plan and advice in common language. Our comprehensive wealth plans are created to weather not only the spring and summer but also the fall and winter of economic climates.
While most people leave their financial advisor confused about what’s happening with their money, we do all we can to ensure you’re completely aware of your financial plan and the reasoning behind our recommendations. Money doesn’t have to be complicated, and we do all we can to make the complex simple.
See Our Sample Financial Plan
We’ve developed a sample financial plan that reflects our planning process. It looks at a fictional couple’s lifestyle income plan and how we developed it, including identifying their goals, creating a balance sheet, reviewing their cash flow, and more.
Keep in mind that this is only a hypothetical plan presented to illustrate what a client’s plan may resemble should they work with us. The characters and circumstances are completely fictional and are for illustrative purposes only. Be sure to seek the advice of a qualified professional for your particular situation and not rely upon any of the information herein to make personal financial decisions.
